About me
I have been an educator for over 30 years, starting in Pennsylvania as an elementary teacher. After marrying my Navy husband, we moved to Virginia, where I continued teaching in Williamsburg, taught at a psychiatric facility and earned a Special Education endorsement. After a short tenure in Newport News, I joined Hampton City Schools, and earned an M.Ed. in 2010. I've served in various roles; Special Education teacher, Math Interventionist, Math Coach, and currently as Elementary Induction and Development Specialist. I'm a proud mother of two HCS graduates and enjoy family time and frequent beach visits.
